It is traditionally held at the Bundeswehr Hospital Hamburg, where it will take place again from 26 to 28 August 2026. It will be hosted by the Department of Tropical Medicine operating in cooperation with the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Medical Centre and the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg. The latter is the National Reference Centre for Tropical Pathogens in Germany.
